A chance encounter with a new friend thrusts them into a business that they’re very proficient at but, that could unravel all of their hopes and dreams. Can they weather a storm that’s been brewing for years or will the love of money destroy a legacy that Julius Gage is fighting tooth and nail to establish? Their journey unmasks an abusive past, the misuse of power and the disintegration of an American family.
Redemption usually begins with the soul’s commitment to withstand evil and it’s easier said than done. Who can you trust when you can’t trust yourself?

This book was excellent. The character development was very well done. The story flow was just right to keep my interest all the way thru. Them Gage boys are something else but very intriguing characters. This ending though has me about to inbox Mr Topp and see when the next part is dropping or if this is all the prequel we get before another Gage banger drops. I give this read 5 stars and highly recommend it!!!! Another well penned book by a great author!!!!Product details

This was by far the best in this series. Absolutely love this history of the Gage family. Keep it going!
I am trying to pace myself with this one. You know a novel is great when you wonder what the people in it are doing when you put it down!
My first book by this author and all I Can say is phenomenal !! Love those Gage boys
Not what I expected, but a good read it was. This was the Prequel, guess I better purchase the rest and see what them Gage boys up to. To the Author, great job. You captured my attention and told a story, well.
This author just gets better n better. Those Gage brothers are something else. I cried so many times in this book my heart hurt. The story is so heartbreaking in so many ways. So well written could have been there this is a must read. Well done
This was a great prequel to The Hustle Chronicles. I love this back story of the Gage family. From the beginning the Gage men were a force to be reckoned with. The author breathes life into each and every character so much so that you almost forget it's fiction! The Gage brothers especially come to life and I love how each of them had a piece of their father in their personalities,whether they admitted it or not. Great job with this story Blacc Topp.
